Building Inclusive AI: Strategies for Training Against Racism
This detailed article deals with issues of bias in AI especially with respect to racism and inclusivity. Artificial intelligence applications are not inherently biassed but 'learn' from their sources of data. The site explores the ideas of data bias and algorithmic bias, and we'll also discuss practical steps to create AI systems that work against racism. The article can be downloaded here.
Many thanks to Sophie who came across this site as part of research for an inclusive and anti-racism class and to William, her Homeschool teacher, who drew it to our attention.

Inspiring Pupils - Digital Creativity through Films - an Erasmus + project
Languages for Education coordinated this European project through the Erasmus + programme. In the project learners and practitioners worked together to make short films, including writing a script to filming and editing. These outputs would make an excellent and flexible theme for an international partnership to adopt as well as helping to improve digital literacy and associated skills. Click here for the link.
