Support for school partnerships
School to school partnerships are not only a way of broadening horizons for school students they can also enable teachers and school leaders to share their expertise and to build mutually beneficial professional relationships.
The above image is taken from a presentation put together by students from a school in Ukraine as part of collaborative project with other schools across Europe. The theme was 'Fake News', this was part of the 'Stronger Together' project managed by the British Council with materials created by the Global Learning Association, the materials can be found here. The students used a safe online platform called eTwinning for their collaborative work. eTwinning is part of the EU Erasmus + programme, the UK government took the decision to withdraw from this programme. UKGLAS campaigns for the UK to rejoin so our schools can share in similar projects.

This Erasmus + project was coordinated by the Global Learning Association. Although intended for pupils and their teachers in the final years of primary education it has also proved useful for older age groups and even for adult learning. The resources, created in a partnership between the UK, Sweden, Greece and Italy are focussed on artworks in both national and local galleries. The resulting activities help to support a number of themes including global learning and are also an ideal vehicle for school to school partnerships including collaborative teacher training. Click here to visit the project's website.
