UKGLAS membership
UKGLAS membership is open to anyone who shares the aims and objectives of the Association. Potential members are required to complete and return a short application form which must be approved by the Executive. Membership is renewed each year at the AGM in June or July when the annual subscription becomes due. This is currently £25.00. The 2024-25 Membership Application Form can be downloaded here.
Meeting at the British Council, London, Tuesday 27th February 2024.
Members attended both face to face and online. An important feature of this meeting was an update from the British Council focussing on their work with schools here in the UK and internationally. Their powerpoint presentation can be downloaded here.
AGMs for UKGLAS and GLA held online, Thursday 4th July 2024.
The AGMs were followed by an online conference. This was led by GLA members. Following an introduction to our new Padlet (this can be downloaded here) UKGLAS members and visitors looked at opportunities to work with the GLA. The minutes and notes from the online conference can be downloaded here.
Online Meeting, Thursday 17th October 2024.
