GLA - International School Award assessor team

The GLA is responsible for assessment of the British Council International School Award and has won successive contracts to undertake this work since 2015.  Each one of our team of assessors has experienced applying for the ISA at school and has then undergone both training and mentoring before commencing their assessment work.

Foundation and Intermediate assessments are assessed by an individual assessor while Action Plans and the Impact Evaluations are shared across the team. 

We aim to use this page to feature some examples of good practice we have come across plus hints and tips for a successful application.
